Right now, in 2026, there are children living in extreme poverty across the UK. Life is already unimaginably hard for these families, but now, picture this: a child in that same home facing a disability, a life‑threatening illness, or a condition that limits their time. These children don’t just need support, they need hope. They need moments of joy. They need dreams to believe in.

At The Big Table Group, we welcome thousands of families into our restaurants every week. For many, a simple meal out is a treat. But for others, it’s a real challenge, one that comes with obstacles most of us reading this never have to think about. That’s why we are incredibly proud to be continuing our partnership with Dreams Come True, the UK charity dedicated to delivering life‑changing dreams for children and young people living with serious illnesses, disabilities or life‑limiting conditions in some of the toughest areas of deprivation.

In 2025, our first year together, Dreams Come True and The Big Table Group achieved something remarkable. Thanks to the passion and creativity of our teams, suppliers and guests, and a spectacular black‑tie gala at Nobu Hotel Portman Square hosted by comedian Russell Kane, we raised an incredible £160,000 – the largest single corporate contribution in the charity’s history. Those funds are helping to deliver thousands of bespoke dreams: from specialist equipment that transforms daily life, to magical family moments that bring joy, relief and togetherness when they are needed most. A dream fulfilled is more than just a special moment; it is a lifeline of happiness and hope in the darkest of times.

At The Big Table Group, we believe in helping families who need us the most, and we are proud to continue this partnership into 2026. Throughout the year, our restaurant teams across Bella Italia, Las Iguanas, Banana Tree, Frankie & Benny’s, Chiquito and our other brands will once again be coming together to raise as much money as possible to help make even more dreams come true.

And on 16 September 2026, we’re going even bigger again.

We are delighted to invite you to the Royal Lancaster, Lancaster Gate, London, for our 2026 Charity Dinner in aid of Dreams Come True – a black‑tie evening of elegant hospitality, an incredible host, exclusive auction items, a stunning meal and world‑class entertainment. Building on the success of last year’s unforgettable gala, this will be a night to reconnect, to celebrate what we have already achieved together, and to do something truly extraordinary for children who need it most.
